The latest Forester and the Forester Expansion Packs releases are compatible with Cinema 4D 2023!
Existing Forester and Expansion Pack customers can download the 2023 point update for free if under maintenance or within the first 2 years of purchase, and should use their existing license keys. Customers who do not have a maintenance plan should contact us for more detail.
Forester for R25 added MultiFlora wind looping, native Apple M1 support, and other improvements and bug fixes.
Starting with Cinema 4D R20, we added support for Multi-Instances , which are memory efficient instances that display and render much faster than normal render instances. Forester’s implementation of Multi-Instances is super fast and is compatible with all render engines that support Multi-Instances.
Another feature addition starting Forester for R20 was Instance Color Variation in Forester’s MultiCloner. This is an easy to use technique to add natural color variations to trees, plants or any type of scattered objects.
Forester trees using MultiInstances support the Cinema 4D Variation shader for the random coloring of leaves.
WHAT IS FORESTER ?
Forester is a new 3D technology for creating natural elements such as trees, plants, grass and rocks, and scattering them over terrain. Forester elements are completely animatable with our proprietary HyperWind® technology to deliver hyper-realistic wind animation effects with absolutely minimal effort.
Forester is currently available for Maxon Cinema 4D.

Forester for Cinema 4D ships with 4 modules, Forester Trees , an advanced tree generator, MultiFlora , an advanced plant/grass generator, MultiCloner , an advanced scattering/distribution tool, and Forester Rock , a high detail rock generator.
FORESTER EXPANSION PACK 1 FOR CINEMA 4D
Forester Expansion Pack 1 for Cinema 4D is a professional tree library for Forester consisting of 51 unique tree species. Each tree comes in 3 different representations, namely Adult, Young and LowPoly. The pack is a feature rich add-on to Forester, offering capabilities not previously available in the basic Forester package, like render engine specific material creation, as well as season selection and more.

Forester Expansion Pack 2 for Cinema 4D is a professional plants library for Forester consisting of 51 unique plant species. The pack is an indispensable add-on to Forester, offering workflow enhancement capabilities such as render engine specific material creation.

Плагин Forester Tree для Cinema 4D
Замечательный плагин для Cinema 4D. С ним можно создавать отличные пейзажи как природы, так и отдельные фрагменты деревьев. Добавлять: ветки, сучки, различную траву, выращивать деревья прямо на месте и на лету. Ко всему прочему можно добавлять симуляцию ветра, менять его скорость применяя к различным деревьям или траве по отдельности. Это некая альтернатива SpeedTree Cinema. Только с меньшей библиотекой деревьев. Но самое необходимое имеется и все в одном месте. Теперь нет необходимости что-то конвертировать и переносить деревья и траву из различных приложений. У становка плагина для Cinema 4D, происходит в стандартном режиме и не вызывает особых затруднений. То есть, после распаковки скачанного архива поместите плагин Forester Tree в папку по следующему пути: C:\Program Files\MAXON\CINEMA 4D R14\plugins, с одноименным названием Forester. Forester is a plugin for Maxon Cinema 4D that provides tools for the creation of natural elements such as trees, plants, rocks, as well as their geological distribution over polygonal terrain. Forester is comprised of 4 modules, namely Forester Trees, Multiflora, MultiCloner and Forester Rock. Forester is one of the best and most successful Cinema 4D plugins because it offers a completely procedural solution to environment creation all within the familiar Cinema 4D workspace.

Forester Trees Feature Overview
High Density Scatter
Scatter hundreds of thousands of objects with ease using Forester’s MultiCloner, combining ease of use with ultimate control
High Rez Procedural Rocks
Rocks are created as procedural objects with many functions to allow for realistic rock planting
Deformation Level Control
Rocks have 3 deformation levels, each providing a different noise pattern. User can use all 3 or a combination to achieve the desired effect
Seamless Texturing
Seamless textures are wrapped around the rock with no visible seams. Forester rock is providing the UVs for user-created seamless textures
Forester Renderer Compatibility
Forester does not currently generate render-engine-native materials (like Redshift or Octane). This feature is only available in the Expansion Packs.
Forester currently generates Cinema 4D standard materials only.
