Trees

Trees and shrubs grow all over Portia and range from small bushes to very tall trees. They drop a variety of resources when kicked or chopped down.

To chop down a tree, approach it with an axe or Chainsaw and use it. An HP bar will appear. Chop at the tree until the HP is depleted. The larger the tree, the stronger the tool must be to chop it down. Large trees have stumps that can also be chopped down. To kick a tree, approach it and interact with it. The kicking animation will play out and a moment later a resource will fall from the branches. Most large trees can be kicked for resources. Trees will drop resources a combined total of

  Shrubs [ ]

  Bush shrubs in Portia are bush-like plants that are easy to chop down. They cannot be kicked and they don’t have stumps to remove after they are chopped down. They drop Plant Fiber and Wood when chopped down.

  Ground shrubs (vine-like, low-to-the-ground plants) only drop Plant Fiber. They are most commonly found in the area surrounding the Workshop.

  Tree shrubs are large bush-type shrubs that almost look like trees due to their multiple thin trunks. They are most commonly found in the area surrounding the Workshop, but they can also be seen on the Western Plateau.

  Small Trees [ ]

  Small trees are trees with distinct, thin trunks that range from very short to a bit taller than the player. They are easy to chop down. They cannot be kicked and they don’t have stumps to remove after they are chopped down. They drop Tree Sap and Wood when chopped down. They are most commonly found in the area surrounding the Workshop.

  Tall Trees [ ]

  There is a wide variety of large trees throughout Portia, each with unique items to drop. All of these trees can be kicked except Apple Trees and Poplar Trees. All of them have stumps that can be removed after the bulk of the tree has been chopped down. These trees require more effort to remove than small trees or shrubs. Each tree has unique, valuable items to drop.

  Apple Tree [ ]

  Apple Trees have red apples visible among the leaves. They can be found near the eastern gate to the city and in the Portia Tree Farm. They cannot be chopped down, but when kicked, they drop Apples and Aroma Apples.

  Elm Tree [ ]

  

  Elm Trees can be found in the area surrounding the Workshop. They can be kicked for Rubber Fruit and chopped down for additional resources. Ironwood comes from the stump of the tree only.

  Oak Tree [ ]

  

  Oak Trees can also be found in the area surrounding the Workshop, as well as on Amber Island and around Portia Tree Farm. They have very thick trunks with large roots above the ground. They can be kicked and chopped down for resources. Ironwood comes from the stump of the tree only.

  Poplar Tree [ ]

  

  Poplar Trees can be found in Eufaula Desert and near South Block. They have tall, light brown trunks with high branches and orange leaves. They sometimes have markings on the trunk that resemble a face. They cannot be kicked, but they can be chopped down for resources.

  Cinnamon Tree [ ]

  

  Cinnamon Trees can be found on the Western Plateau. They

  Palm Jujube Trees can be found around the oasis in the Eufaula Desert. They cannot be kicked, but they can be chopped down for resources.

  Получение [ ]

  Дерево — один из первых ресурсов, доступных персонажу даже до изготовления инструментов. Неподалеку от мастерской можно найти и собрать кучи веток, подсвеченных искорками. Собрав их, персонаж получит дерево и опыт. Кучи веток обновляются каждый день.
  После изготовления топора персонаж получит возможность рубить деревья на всей территории Портии (кроме центра города).
