This is the ACCURATE guide to the most profitable crops, fish, flowers, animals, and trees! I took the time to formulate the most profitable AND what makes you the most XP in each category! Happy farming!

I have listed below the most profitable crops along with the most profitable XP if you would like to skip to what you came here for!

If you’re anything like me, you struggled in the beginning to make money in Farm Together. (I like to expand WAY too quickly.) So, I decided to Google,»Farm Together most profitable crops». What I found was a list of crops such as beets, watermelons, sunflowers, etc. I planted these crops but didn’t notice much of a profit after a couple of days. I was still hovering around 1k gold and I needed more! That is when I decided to look further into if these crops are ACTUALLY the most profitable. SURPRISE! They aren’t. My list is based off of how much experience you make per minute off of these crops as well as how much gold per minute.

Let’s get into the lists and math behind it!

Here are the top 10 most profitable crops in order + what you make per minute off of these crops!
**DISCLAIMER**
I do have to note, this is based off of what I have unlocked currently, this does NOT include every crop available in the game (yet!).

Jicama (7 gold per minute)
Yellow Zucchini (4.9 gold per minute)
Red Goji Berries (3.3 gold per minute)
Red Pine Mushroom (2.9 gold per minute)
Turnip (2.6 gold per minute)
Soybean (2.2 gold per minute)
Carrots (2.2 gold per minute)
Zucchini (2.2 gold per minute)
Leek (2.1 gold per minute)

Watermelon = .1 gold per minute
Beets = .8 gold per minute
Blue grapes = .1 gold per minute
Sunflowers = 1.5 gold per minute
Strawberries = .3 gold per minute

Now, the fish are a little tricky since you have a one time fee of placing them down. To make this simple I did NOT include the initial placement price into these values. This is pure profit after the fish is placed.

Also, you have a chance to earn a «Big Catch», so I included both values in the lists. How much you make off of of the big catch as well as regular fish.

Alright analytical Farmers!

If you are curious how I got the gold per minute this is the equation:

You make 630 profit off of Kiwi
(Harvest price [1,630] — Purchase price [1,000] = 630)

Kiwi takes 1 day until you can harvest it.

Wage rate = 630(profit) / 24(hours) = 26.25(profit/gold per hour)

Next, We take the profit per hour to find the profit per minute.

In one hour there are 60 minutes.

26.25(profit/gold per hour) / 60(minutes) = 0.4 (profit/gold per minute)

I will be continuously updating this guide as I unlock more crops in my game to make sure this guide is as accurate as possible.

As for the rest of the game’s items such as animals and trees, I will be adding onto this guide as I create the top 10 most profitable (animals and trees) lists so make sure to check back often!

Great idea on the math of this but i recommend taking into consideration the level of the harvest-able in question.

For instance I leveled up White daffodil so much that it exceeded the price of a purple daffodil.
White 2.7k with boost per hour (t2 daffodil)
Purple 1.7k with boost per hour (t4 Daffodil)
While this may not be exactly common its something to consider.

You may want to calculate off Lvl1 crops, then 50, 100, 150+ As the financial growth rates of each crop differs. some crops may be far more valuable than others at max level then compared to the seemingly better crops at low level.

I am curious about the most profitable trees. I know it’s not a per-minute thing but still, I am curious.

I hope you’re able to update the list with trees one day, otherwise you might want to remove it from the title.

This does all rest on the assumption that you can harvest the moment the crops are ready, along with replanting. I guess with farmhands you can do that? Otherwise there’re some other considerations =)

This list shows you the shared harvesting seasons of all Farm Together trees and the resource you get from them.

With the help of this list you can place the trees with shared seasonality close together so that you and your guests will have short distances between them during one harvest season.
This is also helpful in case you let your trees get harvested by your farmhands, so that they will always be busy until you relocate them for the next harvesting season.
And if you like to decorate your farm, like me, it´s easier for you to create mixed forests with different trees that are still easy to harvest.

This list also shows you the resource you get during the harvest — but NOT the profit either it´s money or diamonds.
It includes all DLC trees and the limited Events trees.
