Patapon 2
Patapon.
Patapon 2.
Patapon 2:

Evolution Map
Introduced in Patapon 2, the Evolution Map is used to upgrade Patapons into Rarepons, improving their strengths and abilities. It can be accessed through Mater, The Tree of Life. Unlike Patapon 1, where only one Rarepon could be created for each unit at a time, the Evolution Map allows each unit to develop as any Rarepon at any time, allowing them to change forms in the Headquarters. Each unit has their own map, so each individual unit develops independently.
The Evolution Map is also the only method of obtaining Memories, which unlock new Patapon classes and units to create. Memories can be unlocked once the associated Rarepon has been unlocked. Only one Patapon is needed to permanently unlock a memory. Note that certain memories can only be unlocked through certain classes. Each of the main classes (Yaripon, Tatepon, and Yumipon) has two memories.
Below is a clickable Evolution Map that consolidates all the Rarepons and Memories:

Evolution map
Newly introduced into Patapon 2 is the Evolution Map. It is located by using Mater, The Tree of Life. Instead of being able to create whatever Rarepon you want based on what materials you have, you have to instead unlock them in a branching order. Once you have unlocked the Rarepon you want you can level them up to make them stronger. There are 3 stages of growth for each Rarepon, they grow much stronger at level 5 and level 10. Kibapons, Dekapons, Megapons, Robopons, Mahopons and Toripons are unlocked by discovering their scroll on the Evolution Map.
Here’s a list about which Memories can unlock which Memories, and the shortest path that you can take. Take note that, of course, you need to go through all the evolutions listed to unlock the Memory. You only need Lv1 of each, by the way.It does not appear in Patapon 3.
