So currently in my PO3 world I have an Extreme Reactor generating 300kRF/t, which goes into an infinity capacitor from Overloaded. That is then pulled out by an energy extractor (also Overloaded) and sent into a spectre energy injector. Obviously the energy injector hits the buffer almost immediately, but that shouldn’t be an issue because the excess is stored in the infinity capacitor. Here’s the weird part:

Every now and then, the amount of energy stored in the spectre energy injector jumps to an enormous negative number, and then drains all the available power to fill itself back up. I have no idea why this is happening, especially because there’s currently nothing actually connected to the spectre network. My first thought was some problem with the integer limit, but I’m not generating anywhere near *that* much power.

Edit: This definitely has something to do with the integer limit. As soon as the infinity capacitor hits 2,147,283,647 (32-bit integer limit), the spectre energy injector jumps to -2,147,283,647. But why. This doesn’t make any sense as the infinity capacitor capacity is supposed to be capped at the much much larger 64-bit integer limit, and even if it hits the cap I don’t see why the spectre energy injector would go negative.

Edit 2: So the problem is fixed when you put anything that limits flux transfer (i.e. a non-gelid cryotheum fluxduct) between the energy extractor and the spectre energy injector. So that leads me to believe that the spectre injector works by attempting to pull from available sources, and when the source is unlimited and tries to transfer more energy than it can handle, it overflows and goes negative. I will try to fix this in the code, does anybody know if the modmaker is still active?

The different thing is that they are complete blocks and they don’t respond to themselves.

You use the block to transmit energy throughout our Minecraft world without using a wire.

Spectre Lens

If you play this block on top of a beacon, the effects of that beacon will be given to your player regardless of where they are in the range of the beacon.

Spectre Sapling

You right-click a vanilla sapling with ectoplasm to create this block.
It develops into a spectre tree.
Its leaves release some ectoplasm when you smash it.

Stained Bricks

They are the colored editions of the vanilla bricks.
They also come in a Luminous Version that shines in the dark.

Trigger Glass

If you power it with Redstone, its collision box will be loosened for 3 seconds. Hence, the entities will descend through it.

Here are the items you can use in the mod:

Beans

You will catch sight of some bean plants when you traverse the world.
By smashing them, you will obtain some beans. Then, you use them to replant to obtain more.

Blaze and Steel

You use this item to make Fire.
The Fire will burn and spread more quickly than Vanilla Fire.

Chunk Analyzer

This item lets you check on the blocks stored by a chunk.
You access its GUI and press Scan.
Then, you will obtain the results for the chunk that you are in.

When you toggle it through right-clicking, it will convey energy from your spectre energy buffer into an item in your inventory that goes along with it.

Spectre Illuminator

When you right-click on the ground with this item, a Spectre Illuminator will appear.
It illuminates the entire chunk that it has appeared in.

Spectre Key

You use this item to open your own private room.
If you utilize it for 5 seconds, it will teleport you to a room with a size of 16*16*4

Spectre Tools

If this item is utilized in lots of crafting recipes, they have an intention on their own.
If you right-click it in your hand, this makes it stick to you.
When you drop it on the ground, it teleports you to itself after 7 seconds.

How to install:

Random Things

As its name suggests, RandomThings is a mod that adds a variety of miscellaneous objects to Minecraft. Most of these serve as utilities to make gameplay more convenient, such as Fertilized Dirt to grow crops more easily and quickly, or Item Collectors for picking up drops. The mod also includes minor changes to vanilla that allow coloring Glass, Blocks of Redstone and Redstone Lamps.

Beyond its items and blocks, Random Things has several other features all of which can be customized or turned off from its config file. Most individual items and blocks can also be selectively disabled.

Bloodmoon	5% chance any night is a Bloodmoon, with prolific mobs that can appear much closer to the player. Sky and moon turn red.
Hardcore Darkness	Blocks with no light will be completely black. Video
Fast Leaf Decay	Leaf blocks not connected to a log will decay rapidly. Video
Throwing Momentum	Thrown objects and projectiles will use the player’s momentum.
Spectre Dimension	Personal pocket dimension accessed by the Spectre Key.
Modified Loading Screen	Makes the loading screen use a random block texture rather than always dirt.
Spirit Spawns	Killing a mob has a small chance of spawning a passive Spirit mob that drops Ectoplasm.
