Wood

Wood is the main source of obtaining Money when sold at the Wood Dropoff, and is also used to fill in Blueprints. There are currently twenty-one wood types in the game, two are unobtainable, two are only available seasonally, and one doesn’t have its own tree or log form.

There are two main stages of wood: Log (unprocessed) and Plank (processed with the use of a sawmill). Both logs and planks can be processed in sawmills, however, planks will sell for much more. Logs will lose their ownership if not interacted with, eventually causing them to despawn. Additionally, Logs will not not save to a player’s base and are uncapable of filling in Blueprints. Planks will despawn upon the owner’s unload if not on the owner’s land.

Characteristics

Trees have five main traits:

1. Value (M/u): The amount for which the plank and log will sell, represented in M/u (Money/Unit)
2. Plank Appearance: The color and material of the wood type’s plank.
3. Average Trunk Thickness: The average width of the wood type’s at its trunk.
4. Average Growth Time: The average time it takes for a wood type’s tree to grow to maturity.
5. Hardness: The hardness decimal assigned to each wood type based on how hard it is to cut.

ROBLOX \ О локациях Lumber Tycoon 2

Основная локация, в котором появляются игроки и делают базы. Через Лес можно путешевстовать по многим другим локациям, с которыми он соединён.

Основные деревья: Дубовое дерево, вишневое дерево, в’язовое дерево.

Особенности локации:
1. В Лесу присутствует два магазина: Магазин топоров Wood Ru S и магазин земли Yes! — It’s the Land Store.
2. В Лесу находится порт, в который приходит корабль. Корабль перевозит людей на другой остров.
3. Также, Лес соединён с Сафари с помощью моста. Мост можно опустить за 100$.

2. Сафари

Локация, в которую можно попасть через мост в Лесу. По мимо самого Леса, Сафари также соединена с Болотом, в который можно попасть через скалы. Дорога приведёт игрока к двум магазинам (поворот направо) и приведёт к лесу, к ещё одному магазину (прямо).

Основные деревья: Ореховое дерево, в’язовое дерево, вишневое дерево.

Особенности локации:
1. В Сафари присутствует некая структура под названием — Дыра Сафари.
2. В Сафари присутствует три магазина. Магазин мебели Fancy Furnishings, магазин автомобилей Boxed Cars и маленькая хижина Bob’s Shack.

3. Тайга

Снежный биом. В этот биом можно попасть через Лес, взорвав камни на проходе с помощью динамита

Через Тайгу можно также попасть к роще ледяных деревьев с помощью подъёмов в гору.

Основные деревья: Сосновое древео, еловое дерево, ледяное дерево.

Особенности локации:
1. Это единственная снежная локация во всей игре.
2. Ледяные деревья растут только в Тайге.
3. В Тайге стоит дом около гор. В дом можно зайти, однако, интерьер там пуст.

4. В Тайге можно получить мощный топор (В следующей статье могу рассказать, как его получить.)

4. Тропики

Эта локация находится на другом острове. К ним можно попасть через корабль (путёвка обойдётся в 400$)
Через Тропики также можно попасть в шахтам, которые ведут к роще синим пещерным деревьям.

Основнные деревья: Акация, березовое дерево, в’язовое дерево, синее пещерное дерево.

Особенности локации:
1. На острове с Тропиками также присутствует магазин электроприборов Link’s Logic.
2. В шахте можно найти ещё один магазин с картинами.
3. В Тропиках присутствует пещера с Птичкой, у которой можно улучшить серебряный топор.

5. Горы

Локация, которая ведёт к вулкану и роще лавовых деревьев. Можно попасть через Лес.

Основные деревья: Березовое дерево, дубовое дерево, лавовое дерево.

Особенности локации:
1. Лучшее место для фарма денег за счёт березовых деревьев.
2. Через Горы также можно попасть к болоту, как и через Сафари
3. В Горах также есть тайная пещера, в которой можно найти картину Сквидварда. Однако, достать её непросто.

6. Океан

Водяная локация, которая соединяет все локации, которые были названы выше. Через Океан ходит корабль к Тропикам.
Однако, в воде игрок долго быть не сможет из-за наносения урона. Также, в Океане присутствуют маленькие островки с пальмами. Способ попасть к ним через Океан — неизвестно (без читов и эксплоитов)

Основные деревья: Пальма

Особенности локации:
1. Путешевстовать по локации можно лишь через корабль.
2. Самая большая локация в игре.

Swamp Wood, also known as Green Wood and Zombie Wood, is a species of Wood that is found exclusively in the Swamp along with Gold Wood. Its leaves are grey with the granite texture and have a square surface. When sawed, this wood is a very bright green. Its leaves look like a grey countertop sold at Fancy Furnishings. Both Swamp Wood and Gold Wood were added on August 28, 2015.

Characteristics [ ]

Its bark is colored Sea Green and is textured Concrete, like any other tree bark. It usually grows horizontally, similarly to Cavecrawler Wood, however it does not grow as big as Cavecrawler Wood.

It can grow to a very large size due to how the game handles tree growth; trees have a maximum height that they can grow to, but not a maximum width. Since its trees grow horizontally rather than vertically, it can have an unlimited lateral size as long as it does not grow upwards past its maximum height, making this tree theoretically the largest in game. The largest Swamp Wood tree ever seen was about the width of a plot of land.

Harvesting [ ]

It is recommended to have a Overgrown Axe, if otherwise not owned then a Silver Axe, The Many Axe, or any other efficient axe to chop it. A Sawmax 01 or better is recommended to process all of the tree.

Using the Rock Bridge is the recommended route to getting to the Swamp, however, this requires the player to have Dynamite along with them. A more in-depth guide can be seen here. The Safari Mountain Passage can also be used to enter the Swamp but is less efficient due to not being able to bring a vehicle to haul chopped trees. Other methods can include long planking up the mountain or using door bridges.

Frost Wood, commonly referred to as Ice Wood, is the only type of wood that grows at the Taiga Peak. It was added to the game on May 13th, 2018, finally making use of the Taiga Mountain Passage. In the Changelog, Defaultio wrote «Let’s get icy» to mark its addition and to bring players to the Taiga biome. Depending on how long it takes the player to retrieve some, it may require 1 or 2 dynamite due to the way the rocks regenerate.

Characteristics [ ]

The log’s exterior consists of smooth white bark. However, in the interior, it sports a pastel blue-green color with the Roblox ice texture. The leaves of this tree have the Roblox glass texture and due to this, other Frost Wood leaves cannot be seen through another Frost Tree’s leaves. The leaves of the tree grow very similarly to the leaves of the Lava Wood tree. The plank is slippery due to it being made of ice. The amount that the plank slides is determined by the coefficient of friction inherent to the material it is sliding on. Even after filling in blueprints, the wood will maintain its slippery qualities. This has inspired many players to explore the possibilities of this wood. This tree’s growth patterns appear to be a similar manner to Oak trees, except more erratic.

Harvesting [ ]

Frost Wood can be harvested from the Taiga Peak relatively easily. One will need dynamite to clear up the boulders blocking the entrance to the Taiga. Frost Wood can be cut with all axes, with the exception of the Candy Cane Axe. The best axe to cut Frost Wood with is the Frost Axe as it deals a large amount of damage to Frost Wood and has a low cooldown time. As with all trees, the speed at which one may harvest the tree is related to the strength of the axe the player is using.

When driving to the Taiga Peak, the player will encounter a small bridge-like structure that is hard to pass when using a vehicle, but possible with smaller vehicles like the Snowmobile. It is recommended that one leave their bigger vehicles here and walk or ride the rest of the way up with a snowmobile, as there is a high possibility of them falling and landing upside-down or getting stuck on the edge with a larger vehicle.

The fastest method is often to take a vehicle with trailers and a Snowmobile in the back. Park the vehicle at the bottom of the mountain near the Winter Cabin. Take the Snowmobile only and drive it up the mountain to the frost trees.

When cutting trees, there is a specific cliff side where it is slippery, so one can throw the trees off, and they should land near the Winter Cabin. It is also recommended to transport it in large pieces of wood so you have to stop less to drag the wood back into the car, as this can lead to massive time consumption for harvesting. Note that the path leading to the Taiga Peak has some snow on it, and it might obscure cliffs or drops, so be careful when driving. It can be easier to drive a Snowmobile down this slippery cliff to avoid driving back down. This is the most expensive yet commonly obtainable wood in the game, so if a player is looking to get decent amount of money but doesn’t want to risk going up the volcano, this is a very good choice. However, this money-making method is quite time-consuming.
